Available in 5 or 6-speed versions, the MPG 5-speed is capable of handling large torque values, certainly up to 850Nm. The MPG 6-speed can handle torques up to 650Nm. The gear case is partially constructed of a solid forged and milled aluminum blank. The input shaft metallurgy is carefully chosen to provide a better match for conditions involving high an varying loads. Many different gear ratios are available, and thanks to the drop gear construction, these can be rapidly changed to match the requirements of application - from DAKAR, to Rally Cross, and for various race circuit purposes.
